Welcome to Peachy Keen Stamps!  A short little bit about us (mostly me.. because I'm writing this.. lol). I started drawing at a young age but didn't think much of it. As I went through school.. I discovered my love of Art (RECESS and lunch)!  I have always loved making things but wanted to do things my own way. My sister, Sheryl and my Mom were always were doing something crafty and creative.  They inspired me in so many ways.  One of my earliest recollections of Sheryl being at home is of me showing her a picture I drew on big manila paper with crayons (I must have been 5 or 6) at school.  She told me how great it was but she had to show me something important.  She took me by the hand outside and we stood in the middle of Wright Avenue and she had me look down the street at the park.  It was there I learned that the sky (the blue floating thick line on my picture) actually touched the grass! I was AMAZED!  Sheryl taught me how to cross stitch at about age 12 which I continued to do through my early 20's.  I learned some basic sewing skills in Home Ec and at home growing up.  I took that and taught myself how to sew well.  I taught myself how to paint by nothing more than practice.  I love no other craft as I do painting.  I am a high energy (border line HYPER) person and painting for me is very relaxing.  I sold a lot of my painted pieces at local craft shows.  Almost all of pieces sold were original patterns.  I thought about publishing a book.. sent in a portfolio to a publisher and was called 3 days later.  Paint on a Happy Face is the name of the series of books (Eas'l Publications) and pattern packets that I published. They are acrylic painting instructions for beginner to intermediate painters. I designed Peachy Keen Stamps while the painting industry was slowing and the stamping industry was flourishing.  It helped a ton that my husband, Dave happened to be a photopolymer technician with many years of experience in the printing plate industry!! :)  Peachy Keen Stamps Inc. is driven by us.  We are the owners, manufacturers, packagers, designers and distributors.  All of this happened quite by accident and we never dreamed that we would be where we are today!  Thank you so much to our customers and retailers!  There is a ton more to this story but I don't want to bore you! :)
